Photoshop Week 6 and 7

My first landscape was more or less a practice, I incorporated a tiny bit from my book Lost World (ie - jungles, river etc) but I was mainly practicing applying the brushes to create an environment. I kept the perspective simple for this practice but still put in a view point from behind trees.

On week 7 I applied one of the scenes I have chosen from Lost World which is the entrance river to the forgotten land encompassed by forest and flora. I concentrated on trying to get the river colour right and even put in some sun rays to give it more depth.
